BorderLions is a Groovy mix of jazz and pan African rhythms.  With Gregory Jones on electric bass, Todd Isler on drums and percussion, Tatsuya Sakurai on Guitar, and Lily White on Saxophones, this small yet mighty quartet will make your feet and your brain dance the night away.

Past Projects

Since the release of our first CD, “Somewhere Between Truth & Fiction,”  on  Knitting Factory Works, The Lily White Quintet has released two more CDs, “No Pork, Long Line” and “Big Blue Line,” on Jazz Focus Records.

The group consists of some of the most talented musicians on scene,  Michael J. Stevens on piano, David Phelps on guitar, Chris Dahlgren on bass,  Eric Halvorson on drums, and Lily White –leader ,  composer and  saxophones .
